Hello, my name is Ranielle. As early as I can remember I have been fascinated by childbirth. The first time I saw a baby being born I was 8 yrs old. I had the amazing opportunity to be in a birthing room and had a front row seat to see my cousin being born. That was what solidified in me the passion for birth and pregnancy.
Giving birth is powerful and a unique experience for every woman. I have been a nurse for 12 years and enjoy the opportunity I have to educate and help women to be an advocate for their bodies, pregnancy and how they want to have their
birth experience. I am blessed to be a mother of 3 wonderful teenagers who keep me very busy with activities from academics to sports and everything in between.
I love family time and movie nights. I enjoy reading, listening to music, being outdoors and around water.
I have been a registered nurse for six years, most of my career I’ve worked med surg and oncology. I always wanted to do labor and delivery but never pursued it. After recently giving birth at home I decided to take the leap of faith and becoming a midwife assistant to see if I want return back to school for midwifery.
Hi I’m Consuelo D Martin, I started in the medical field as a Medical Assistant in an Internal Medicine clinic. I later became a License Practical Nurse and have been for 17 years. My experience as a nurse has been with Gastroenterology, Pediatrics, Neurology, Endoscopy and now Obstetrics & Gynecology. I am also certified as a Life Coach. I birthed 2 sons but raised 3. I had my sons natural, but in a hospital.
Knowing what I know now, I wish I had a choice in the setting of my births. Since working in OB/GYN I have a greater passion for it because of all of the miseducation or lack thereof. I love educating my patients on their health and options.
I am known as the comforter. I love spending my free time with my family, friends and doing community service.
